Three Generations

I was fortunate enough to take pictures of this beautiful family, and my favorite part was seeing the three generations of strong women standing side by side. Aren't they gorgeous?!

Love is in the air

I had to opportunity this past May to work with one of the most amazing photographers in Dallas.  She is so talented and let me...little ol' me...be a secondary photographer at a wedding she was shooting.  It was so humbling to be able to work side by side with her, she taught me so much.

Showing off the ring...

It had been pouring rain all day, and their wedding had to be moved indoors.  Just as the sun was setting, the bride and groom snuck off to have a moment to themselves and enjoy each other as a newly married couple.

The bridal bouquet.

Little Miss Soso

I love this girl.

Baby F

I had so much fun taking pictures of this little guy.  He loves his momma so much and only wanted to be in her arms.  He was so interested in everything that was going on and did NOT want to sleep at all.
Isn't he perfect?

Just Horsing Around

Another post of pictures that I took for fun.

Apples

Just for fun.

Baby J

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!  I just wanted to squeeze this little man and never let him go.  He is perfect in every way. He parents were kind enough to let me tag-a-long and take pictures of their beautiful family.  They were so nice and made this photo shoot so easy.  It is not fair to have a woman look this good only a week after giving birth. One thing what was amazing to me was watching the obvious bond that was shared between father and son, it was so precious and almost impossible to describe without witnessing it yourself. I am glad I was able to capture such a special time for this incredible family.

Baby E.D.

This darling little girl had the most amazing hair!  I know it sounds weird, but I just wanted to pet her head the whole time she was there. Her hair was so soft and think, even her mom said that it was like petting a chinchilla.  :)  Baby E was so sweet and really did not want to go to sleep, but once she was out she did NOT want you to mess with her.  I would love to take some pictures of her with her older brother and sister, this family has the cutest kids!

Baby E

This little girl is such a doll! Her parents are so wonderful the love they have for her is palpable. Her daddy bought her a zebra pillow pet (which you will see below), and now he wants her stuffed animal of choice to only be a zebra! How cute is that?! I wish nothing but the best for this cute little family.

Miss J

Miss J had a photoshoot for her birthday. She turned 8 years old in December 2010. We wanted to capture some pictures in her special baptism dress, so she can always remember how beautiful she was in one of her 3 white dresses.

Old Hall Cemetery

We had a snow and ice storm hit North Texas in the beginning of February. It was beautiful and horrible all at the same time. Horrible because the roads were one solid sheet of ice, and caused the schools to be closed for an entire week. This also brought frigid temperatures and my little rugrats were cooped up in the house most of the time.
Once school finally resumed I was on my way home from dropping off my children, and I thought I would stop and snap some pictures of the cemetery that is by my house. Some of the trees there are so beautiful!

This tombstone really intrigued me. It was so simple, it looked like the initials were hand carved,
and I couldn't help but wonder who TCW was.
